Voyage à Dublin

Par Le 14/05/2016

Voici quelques mots en anglais qui racontent le voyage à Dublin par deux de nos élèves de 4ème :

My travel to Dublin (by Myriam M. 4ème Euro)

With my class and teachers, during 4 days, I went to Dublin. First of all, we went by coach to Paris Airport. In the coach, we were very tired but really excited. ! The trip to Paris lasted three hours. When we arrived, we took the plane to Dublin. Then, we finally got there at half past eleven. We started our activities at a sports ground, we ate and after, we played traditionnal Irish Sports. Two instructors of the GAA club welcame us and explained us the rules of hurling, handball and Gaëlic football. All afternoon, we learnt how to play these different sports. Then we visited Croke Park Stadium, the third biggest stadium in Europe !

Every day, at six thirty, we went to meet our Irish family who cooked us great meals !

On Wednesday, we visited Powerscourt House and Gardens and Glendalough.

On Thursday, we visited Causey Farm : there, we met a very nice man called Andy and he taught us how to : milk a cow, make soda bread, hunt chickens, play the bodhran and dance the jig. In the afternoon, we saw lots of animals : veals, donkeys, lambs, hens. We discovered a peat bog : it's composed of 90% of water and 10% of dead plants and we could walk in it!We went very deep in the mud !!!

It's the best activity I've ever done and it was really funny !

On Friday, we were sad because we had to go back to Linselles
